Pies

John Denny – OK pie,  thick pastry. Unusual shape. Greasy bottom 7

Kev. – Lovely looking pie. Well glazed. Pastry sweet taste but thick. Course meat. Not fresh. Liked it.                          9

Bob – Bonny pie. Only second time I have seen this shape. Liked the Sweet pastry. Lack of jelly but tasty.                   8.5

Peter – Handsome pie like a well folded Knapkin Thick pastry. Overpowering taste of sage. Lean meat.  8

Pete Prest – Thick pastry. Lack fo jelly. Not keen on sage and onion flavour  6

John Edwards – Shocker, no taste, hard work ,stuck to paper in box. A real ale killer !         3

Colin Barber – Lardy,didn’t like the crust., nice meat and sage  7

Phil – Fresh, but butcher did put them in a plastic bag

Needed more moisture in the meat. Liked the sage . 8
