Pale and undercooked. Fresh but needed another 20 mins in oven   6.5

Royal looking pie because it was the same colour as a Corgi. Slightly soggy with crisp castlations. Meat was peppery and flavorsome., 8

Soft pastry devoid of taste. Nice tasty jelly. Spicy succulent meat,fresh. Has great potential if pastry was got right.   7.5

Peter – Excellent husbandry. Pastry a little soggy and short.. Well filled, porky needed more jelly. 8

Is it a holts pie. I had two to check. Peppery, nice meat. Pastry could have been crisper 7.5

John

Pastry a little sad. Some burnt and some undercooked. Meat spongy, well filled, had a unique taste.      6.5

Bob

Oval pie makes a change. Very full with after burn. Tasted fresh.    7

Whaites of Hebden Bridge. 80p      ave. 7
