Very fresh,crispy pastry, pretty looking pie. Jelly tasty and all the way round. Lacks spice. Left in Land Rover all afternoon so a little cold     8

 The best Lancashire pie we have ever had and very good value.

 Jo Calzigh   wins light heavyweight world title  beating Bernard Hopkins

Pies

 

Phil – ultra fresh pie. Loads of meat and jelly. Thin and crispy pastry. 8

 

Kev – Thin,golden brown pastry but on verge of being burnt. Good meat. Good pie. .Probably Thewis’s.   8

 

 

Bob -  Liked  meat and lots of jelly. Burnt pastry and this spoiled it.  6

 

Richard – Kiln baked rather than oven cooked. Top quality meat. No jelly. Brittle pastry.  7

 

Peter -  Burnt pie with dry biscuit pastry. No jelly great meat, badly cooked good pie. 7

 

Mark – Dull looking crispy tasty pastry. More jelly needed and needed more spice. Had potential  6.5
