Over £300o raised from the sale of pies and entry fees. Fantastic day, incredible crowds, a great success. Very high standard of entrants. 

Earthquake in Nepal devastates Kathmandu. Over 6000 died.

Tour de Yorkshire started on the 1st May yesterday and ends in Leeds tomorrow.  

Election result wide open, hung Parliament expected.

Royal Princess born 5 days late at 8lbs 3oz.Name to be announced.

Howard   Nice looking pie, the end.Soggy pastry, meat was like potted meat. Bit of spice. Not pleasant.

Peter   Big dull looking pie. Soft  pastry, Very well filled and no jelly. Quite tasty but dry meat.

Mark   Soft pastry, quite thin.Very dark meat. No jelly in the pie but on the top. Very spicy meat with good afterburn.

Peter   Shiny,crispy and thin  pastry that was tasty and fresh. Very well filled with tasty meat. No room for jelly. This is a familiar pie but not familiar enough to recognise.

Tim   Nice well seasoned pie.

Mark   Nice pie well glazed very fresh, crispy pastry. Not much jelly. Compact meat and tasted like well seasoned sausage meat and really good effort.

Howard   Small, perfectly formed pie. Well glazed, fresh crisp pastry. Well filled with tasty seasoned meat. Little bit of jelly. Good pie.
